Shona Huffman currently works as the Director of Government Affairs for the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and also serves as a City Councilwoman for the city of Frisco.
After receiving Bachelors of Arts in History, Political Science, Social Science Education, and Speech and Theater from Southwest Baptist University, Shona Huffman began teaching and coaching Debate at Coppell High School. Further pursuing education, she earned her Master of Science in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the University of North Texas and graduated from the American Public University with a Master’s degree in Political Science and Government. Through 2004, Shona Huffman continued work at Colleyville Heritage High School as both a Debate coach and US History and Government teacher.
Currently working for the Frisco Chamber of Commerce while also on City Council, Shona Huffman dedicates her time towards ensuring that Frisco remains family and business friendly. Along with this, she holds a commitment towards providing students with exemplary educations in civics.
